Oklahoma CU Financial Literacy Council
Our Mission..."Increase the financial literacy of Oklahomans".
Goals:
- Network with Oklahoma credit union peers to share best practices and financial education resources.
- Work together to offer financial education to credit union members and potential members in a larger venue to help differentiate credit unions from banks.
- Assist smaller credit unions that do not have the resources to launch their own financial literacy programs.
- Have Oklahoma credit union report their financial education activities on the CUNA and NYIB networks so our combined efforts can be used when lobbying.
- Let our credit union peers around the country know that Oklahoma credit unions are participating in educating our members.
