Oklahoma Credit Union Foundation

Since the inception of the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) many states have developed their own state foundations to serve their credit unions in similar ways.

The Oklahoma Credit Union Foundation (OCUF) was developed to help credit unions receive training and education to serve their members better, to assist in providing financial literacy materials for credit union members and to work with other, ongoing, related activities.

Our Mission

"The Oklahoma Credit Union Foundation is committed to improving the economic, social, and financial well being of credit unions and the members they serve by operating as a premier resource for human and financial support of the credit union community."

Our Vision

"The Oklahoma Credit Union Foundation is a premier charitable foundation dedicated to providing community development, consumer education, financial assistance, disaster relief and leadership development for the credit union community."

The National Credit Union Foundation was developed as the charitable arm of the credit union movement.  The Foundation leverages non-dues dollars to fund projects which support industry-wide developmental and charitable initiatives.  Examples include:  consumer financial education, homes for low income people and strengthening credit union movements in developing nations.

The National Credit Union Foundation has been involved in helping the victims of the tragedies and natural disasters that have occurred in recent years.  Not only did the NUCF donate time and money to the September 11th relief efforts, they were also one of the first in line to offer their assistance following the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building as well as the devastating tornado which affected so many of our credit union family members in the Oklahoma City area.
