About:
Credit union employees work with and handle money.  As a result, credit unions obtain consumer reports based upon the employee’s position and as required by the NCUA, credit unions must comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act to obtain consumer and background checks as well as other state and federal laws.  The purpose of this seminar is to provide a credit union with the appropriate disclosures necessary to authorize a credit union to obtain consumer reports and to advise credit unions of what information may and may not be considered when reviewing consumer records.
