Catalyst Corporate Hosts Annual Meeting, Adds Two-Day Conference
The conference to follow the annual meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. on April 9 and is entitled, “Accelerating Success.” A slate of five well-regarded speakers will offer credit union financial industry and economic insights. Topics include an Economic Outlook for Credit Unions, How Mobile Banking Can Increase ROI, Managing Liquidity and Other Critical Issues, Crafting the Member Experience and Using Innovation to Move Your Credit Union Forward.
The Accelerating Success conference will include an evening reception and networking opportunity on April 9 and will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, ending at 11:15 a.m. with an optional golfing opportunity at 1:00.
Among the speakers at the conference will be Steven Rick, senior economist for CUNA and Affiliates’ Economics and Statistics Department. Rick will share economic insights of particular interest to credit unions. Jim Van Dyke is CEO of Javelin Strategy and Research, a firm that provides strategic insights into customer transactions and increasing sustainable profits for financial institutions. Van Dyke will discuss mobile banking as a value added product.
Steven Houle, Director, Advisory Services at Catalyst Strategic Solutions will present financial and investment strategies to help credit unions manage their balance sheets in the current economic environment. Kelly McDonald, a marketing and advertising expert featured on CNBC and in Forbes and BusinessWeek will speak to improving the member experience as it relates to credit unions.
And Jackson Hataway, a specialist in organizational development and strategic planning will couple real-world practicality with new theories of corporate growth in his presentation as he offers suggestions that will accelerate credit union success.
Catalyst Corporate will also award up to six CPE credits to those in attendance.
The Catalyst Corporate annual meeting and luncheon is complimentary, but reservations are required. The Accelerating Success Conference is open to all credit unions and the Early Bird registration fee is $375 per person for those registering before March 19. After that date, the fee will be $450. All breaks, available presentation materials and the Tuesday evening reception are included in the registration fee. And a block of rooms has been reserved at a special rate of $189 per room, per night at the Rancho Bernardo Inn, but rooms are limited. The golf outing on April 10 requires a $100 green fee.
