Festival of Trees Raises Almost $20,000

On November 28, 2012, the Oklahoma Credit Union Foundation hosted a benefit, Festival of Trees, at the Credit Union House.  Twelve credit unions donated and decorated trees that were purchased during the live auction.  Credit unions and vendors donated eleven gift baskets and items to be sold during the silent auction.  Together, credit unions and vendors raised approximately $20,000 for the Oklahoma Credit Union Foundation. 

Awards given are listed below:

• Celebrity Choice,chosen by Scott Hines, News Channel 4: Peppermint Patty Lane, decorated by Sand Springs Community FCU
• Chair's Choice, chosen by Dave Willis, Tinker FCU: Let's Go to the Movies, decorated by FAA Credit Union
• People's Choice: Tornado Tree/Wizard of Oz Tree, decorated by Tinker FCU
