Larry Hayes Joins CU Holding Company, LCC CUSO as President and CEO

CU Holding Company, LLC announced today that Larry Hayes has joined the CUSO as president/CEO.  Centrally located in Lenexa, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City, CU Holding Company, LLC manages investments in six (6) CUSOs – Beyond Marketing, LLC, XtraCash, LLC, TruHome Solutions, TruHome Title Solutions, Cooperative Payroll Solutions, LLC, and MEMBERS Development Company.  

CU Holding’s first CUSO Beyond Marketing began operating in 2003.

 

Hayes’ industry background includes twenty-six years of executive credit union experience in marketing and business development.  Most recently, Hayes served as vice president of marketing and business development at First Service Credit Union (formerly Right Choice Credit Union), Houston, Texas.  He also took up the credit union cause as vice president of marketing at HFS Federal Credit Union, Hilo, Hawaii, and worked at other credit unions in Hawaii and California.

Hayes started his career in Washington, D.C., with HUD Federal Credit Union.  Later, he ran his own business consulting firm applying his expertise for credit unions in the areas of strategic planning, marketing strategies, promotions, business development, and financial statement analysis.  He also taught classes for the formerly called D.C. League of Credit Unions.

 

Mr. Hayes received his B.A. from Ferrum College, Ferrum, Virginia.  He also earned post graduate credits toward an M.B.A. at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Government and Business Administration.
