2012 Buck Levins Award
For the last 11 years, CUNA has presented the Buck Levins Award at the GAC. The purpose of
the Buck Levins Award is to recognize a league, credit union or individual whose efforts in the
political arena have contributed to elevating the political presence of credit unions at the state
or national level.
We invite you to nominate deserving individuals or organizations for the 2012 Buck Levins
Award. Letters of nomination should clearly state the individual or organization’s outstanding
contribution to the political or grassroots strength of credit unions at the state or national
level. Please be sure to include your name and contact information in your nomination.
Letters of nomination should be submitted to me, Joann Sordellini, by Monday, January 9, 2012
via fax or email (202‐638‐7751/jsordellini@cuna.com). A judging committee comprised of the
CUNA President, the CUNA Chair, the CUNA GAC Chair, the AACUL Political Involvement and
Grassroots Committee Chair and the CULAC Chair will decide the winner of the award. Please
do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
